A poem about a girl walking alone at night; the girl isn’t particularly fond of the night.

The night is cold,
dark and creepy.
You hear noises,
but from where?

You think you hear someone,
but turn around, and nobody’s there.
You see strange shadows;
the dim light plays tricks.

You start to walk faster;
you want to get home.
You open the door,
your heart is racing.

You turn on the lights,
and lock the door.
You hate to walk at night,
but know it’s unavoidable.

You have no choice,
and know it’s true,
but behind your brave face,
it really scares you.

    Very nice! It is creepy to walk at night, unless you are taking your doberman with you.
