A poem I wrote for my grandparents who were always there for me when I needed them.

A Letter to Grandma and Pap

Looking back through time

You’re the two I find

The one’s who loved, spoiled and cared

Stories you always shared

I’ll never forget sitting with you, “Pap”, waiting for the mail

For you would then sneak a beer and always fail

Grandma busted you every time

She’d call you every name in the book

And sometimes they would rhyme

I’ll never forget being with you either, Grandma

For you would always share with me your past

And talk about the life you had to rush by so fast

I don’t know what I would do

Without the two of you

There are too many memories to recall

That show how much you were there for me

Whenever I would to fall

I know I don’t get to see you as much these days

But you’re always in my mind

Remember that when I look back through time

You’re the two I find
