Just a life experience…

Image via Wikipedia

She heard just two words,

so she stood without a care,

straight, locked in face,

a slight tear, but no fear,

not a trace,

but underneath she felt terrified,

the weight she was carrying around

was at least ten times her size

a trellis of shadows

falling from the windows

emotions started flipping,

faucet dripping

over the sink,

coffee smells drifted

around like fog,

time sifted,

and thoughts were lifted,

her reactions grew,

as he stayed on his knees

waiting for her to say ” I do.”
