Climbing uphill
Never free
Longing freedom
Living in a prison
A life spent unlived
Never feeling like I am enough
I keep growing, ever growing
Raging against myself
In a battle I can never win
A life spent unlived
Self-hatred abounds
Because I am not good enough
I must learn to trust
To stop being frightened of myself
