Every time I wake up in the land of the living I am thankful.
It is morning and a distant sun is rising on the horizon.
My heart pounds with excitement, for a new day is dawning and I am alive to see it.
I inhale as much of the air as I can, for with this new day comes new life, mine.
I have been spared by God to dwell again in the land of the living.
Though, I am weak in my legs I have dared to walk to the beach,
I face the ocean as the tide rushes in and I shout praises to my God.
With the very breath I breathe I worship the Father, I humbly bow to
Him, surrendering all to Him.
My heart beats the rhythm,
my soul hums the melody
and my spirit sing songs of love to Him.
I have an attitude of gratitude as He has bestowed on me anew His mercy.
His grace is sufficient!
Yes, it is truely more than enough.
His grace is sufficient, with it I am fed, clothed, and kept in perfect peace.
I am loved, saved, and protected in the Beloved.
It is evening and a distant sun is setting on the horizon.
I have spent my day–a day given to me as a gift–praising God,
honoring Jesus and walking with the Holy Spirit.
The sun has set and night is born.
I watch as the stars appear in the sky, flickering like so many candles in the night.
I dance and sing before Him. Again I bow humbly before Him.
I cannot help myself
and I do not try to stop myself because I love Him.
I inhale as much of the air as I can and I close my eyes.
But I do not fear,
For it is in His arms that I have fallen asleep.
