A story about lost love.
You were my world
We didn’t see it coming
You made a promise
You didn’t know you could keep
You said, “I’ll always be here for you”
And I said the same to you though we were young
Inside we both knew we had found our soul mates
The one to be with forever
You were so innocent
You didn’t know what was coming
You were working on your passion
The garage door opened as you looked up
I got a call that you were trapped
And weren’t going to make it
I ran to your house to find you
Were pinned to the back of your garage wall
Pinning you was your motocross bike
And your brothers truck
I held your head in my arms
And looked down into your eyes
As yours looked back at mine
“I’m so sorry,” you said
“No you have nothing to be sorry for,” I answered
“Yes I do,” I said, “I’ll always be here for you
Don’t you worry about that. You’re going to be fine.”
I grabbed his hand
He squeezed mine back
“I will always love you,” he said staring straight in to my eyes
“And I love you to always and forever.”
He gave me that sweet smile
And let go of my hand
His smile was the first I saw of him,
And it was the last thing he ever gave me
I will love him forever and eternity
In my heart he will stay
To my love I let you go to move on
With life as I know you wish me to
Good bye my dearest love and,
May you rest in peace.
