A poem to an immortal love created from a love spell from times past.

I cannot comprehend my heart’s will to speak your name. My mind denies your existence in my life while my body craves the taste of your skin. This hunger for you, your eyes, your lips, the warmth of your touch, surely consumes me;while the comfort of your familiar soul possesses a magick far beyond the power of my resistance. My mind speaks words of betrayal, disgust, greed and envy. My heart reminds me of the other realm of myself where you dwell. I cannot escape you. I am a prisoner of my own heart.

When u held me looking deeply into the windows of my soul…I spoke to yours. I told you a story of our forever love in a language that only our hearts could perceive. Ignorant of your feelings, negligent to caution…I ran towards a danger of no return. Your words captivated my soul, your eyes persuaded my surrender. Our recipe, one so succulent and sweet, contained a poison which bound us forever.

This love is a spell never to be proposed or broken. It’s power is binding beyond escape. Though, I hold another in my arms, I cannot run or hide from what contains me. It is your existence in my life that is eternal. I cannot release my heart from your hands no more than I can release your heart from my own.
Of all of the dangerous magicks in this world… love is the greatest. Selfish desire the second. I am locked away eternally in your love in shackles without a key.
