A Poem I wrote a few years ago.
His life is perfect it’s finaly together,
He thinks this love will last forever,
One day she called with gloom in her voice,
He knows that she has made a choice,
Not one that is good and could be forgave,
But one that he will take to the grave,
Only ten seconds into the call is where
his heart shattered and hit the wall,
What is he to do, where is he to turn,
He goes to his friends but they show no concern,
His life is not perfect no not anymore,
Scars start to appear not one but there’s four,
His friends teased and joked about how his love went astray,
But now they all can cry in dissmay,
They can’t take it back now, all the fun and jokes,
Because now he lays in his new thresshold,
What once was love turned into dissaster,
As they sit in the pews and listen to the pastor,
There was not one seat unfilled not even hers,
She cryed and she weeped as she watched the hurse,
Not more can be said not even a word,
Because a love went astray finaly took him away.
