It’s a lovely day for a picnic

What shall I pack for me?

Cucumber and some butter sandwiches

A wide variety of tea

Chicken salad sounds real nice

Add a little tarragon spice

Eggs with a slice of ham

Cloves of honey, jars of jam

Cream cheese and some apricot spread

Is perfect on some fresh baked bread

Shepard’s pie, Welch rabbit stew

Blueberry scones, chocolate fondue

I do not know what to pack

On what…I can’t agree

Maybe I’ll just pack my big steaming mug

And my wide variety of tea
