Jerry falls in love with two women and can’t make up his mind concerning who he wants to marry. These women meet and found out their plight. They both decided to terminate their relationship with him because of their disgust and his infidelity.

Jerry is a sports figure

He’s use to women

Swooning over him

- – -

Two of these women

Were cheerleaders

That cheered

For his football team

- – -

Rosie and Jenny

Were flattered

By Jerry’s attention

- – -

He took them each

On secret rendezvous

Weeks at a time

Told them

How deeply

He loved them

And they fell for his charm

- – -

One day

Rosie and Jenny met

With a mutual friend

Over drinks

They began discussing

Their love life

- – -

To their surprise

They found out

That they have

Been dating

For over two years

The same man

They both wore necklaces

That Jerry had given them

As token of his love

- – -

Rosie as well as Jenny

Were furious

Both were devastated

And made a pact

To send Jerry packing

- – -

Unknown to him

Jerry was caught

In the crossfire

- – -

He tried to talk

His way out of it

By professing his love

For Rosie

But they both dumped him

- – -

To make their decision

Absolutely clear

They flung

Their necklaces at him

Yelling, “Good riddance!”

Again an old saying from my country applies here: You sit in two chairs at the same time, you’ll eventually end up on the ground.

Fabulus poem. This would make a great short story. Give it a go – it would be a rip-roaring success

Awesome! Both ladies did the right thing. Maybe he learned a lesson. I would have done the same thing too. I’m sure that there are men out there playing women like fools.

nicely done… thanks for sharing this, should I say, “tragic (for the guy)” poem.

Two years?! Hard for me to comment on this one. Thanks for the share though. No reflection on your talent of course. Just have no reflection on two women that would be in a situation like that for two years.

I you’re going to date more than one woman, it’s best be open and honest about it.
