A Poem By Lawrence Miller.
A Man’s not suppose to Cry
Losing my all importance
What matters to me so much?
A girl with so much loving
Broke loose and gave me up
I just walked in the door one day
Searched but she was gone
Deeply hurt I needed a drink
To figure out where we went wrong
The tears came out as I sat alone
Thinking to myself
They say a man’s not suppose to cry
But this I could not help
I walked for miles in a confusing state
To the place where we first met
Imagining you beside me
So happy and content
I’ll never stop loving every thing about you
But there will always be a little shame
I won’t know how to tell my friends
Your gone that’s all I can say
The tears came out as I sat alone
Thinking to myself
They say a man’s not suppose to cry
But this I could not help
