Hum this and Ooh that
Words express feelings
add to it the rhyme
catchy melody as tushes dance in seats
smooth and slow: 2nd verse
lets flow the pen turns paper
into a musician's magazine
song takes shape
writing will never be the same
if only the voice inside could sing
inspiration would jump a level
what joy it is
to place poetry to melody
I intend to give some of my poetry to a musician friend of mine who can put the music to them. The singing I can do myself.
