A reflection on the value of photographs and the memories they evoke.
A photograph is a doorway
Leading to memories of days gone fast,
Which lead us on our journey,
It’s a glimpse, a slight peep into the treasures of past
As in our gladden hearts and minds,
the reminiscences brighten, evoked replay.
When we look back over the years that have flown,
And some of our memories have started to fade,
Its get harder each day, to recall the recollections of yesterday,
We are reminded though; through the photographs that we save
Each photograph is a beacon, a light to guide us on our way.
So, here’s a little gift from me to you, a treasure to keep always
A photograph of someone beloved,
A snapshot, a moment captured; forever frozen in time
A keepsake, to cherish that we can be proud of,
To illuminate the darken corners of our mind
As then we relive the joys, and happy moments,
that we live for now and everyday.
