MOVING ON.
A MILE PAST THAT YARD
Sorry just don’t cut it
It’s been said many times before
There’s no more credibility
You’re not wanted anymore
So take your stuff and go now
Don’t come back to this place
There’s a forever mark upon you
Like a feeling of disgrace
You shake the hands and say goodbye
To keep your dignity
Always know ing your life would change
And finally you’d be free
I’ve taken my control back
And it feels so good inside
I no longer hold my head down
No longer need to hide
I thought it would be a struggle
To live a different kind of life
Where money don’t come easy
And there’s much more sacrifice
Hard can come so easy
Easy can be so hard
Whatever the situation
There’s a mile past that yard
Hard can be so easy
Easy can be so hard
Whatever the situation
There’s a mile past that yard
Hard can be so easy
Easy can be so hard
Whatever the situation
There’s a mile past that yard
Whatever your situation
There’s a mile past that yard
Hard can come so easy
Easy can be so hard
