A poem about being the reflection of God. We are clay and He is the Master Potter, Designer and Crafter.

Clay, I am by your design
Knitted together by your hand
Fashioned in your image
I am but a reflection
A mirror of the Father’s love
When I look into the mirror
Will I see the Father’s face?
Dust of the earth, I am
Soiled and stained with sin
But in the Father’s image
I am renewed and cleansed within
Created to be the mirror of God
When I look into the mirror
Will I see Christ in me?
A lump of clay you molded
Crafted with me in mind
As you formed me from the ground
A mirror of the likeness of you
When I look into the mirror
Will I see Christ instead of me?
A reflection of your love
A reflection of your peace
A reflection of the life you lived
Is how my life should be
A mirror of my Father, God and King
When I look into the mirror
I will see you
You knew what I would be
