A poem from CHAPTER 2:(Reflection/Food For Thought)from my recently published anthology entitled, "JUDGE ME NOT"due to be available in JANUARY 2011.
Brother Dewayne.

A MORSEL OF FLESH so weak, yet powerful

So filthy, so rich

A Greedy restroom insensitive to compassion

Just a playground for adult children to entertain

No pain no gain

Cautiously guard this morsel

Abundance of this flesh can be detrimental

Not enough can be an experimental waste

Relationships learn hard that good and evil reside in this morsel of flesh

Men and women do battle over it’s superior impact on love, life, and the pursuit of happiness

Both sexes share the warmness of this God given morsel

Yet at times this intriguing morsel is brutally cold, dry, and even fatal

In everybody there is a morsel of flesh

If it is whole then the body is whole

If it is diseased the the whole body is dis-eased

Every human being has one, and only God can judge it accurately

Truly it is the heart.
