The Curse every Mother puts on her kids…

When my mother gets fed up

As every Mom will do

She says, “I hope your kids will act

Just the  same as you”

The curse will work; it always does

It’s happened every time

It’s called genetics, some of her genes

Got transferred into mine

And so it passes on and on

Each Mother to her child

All vainly hope that her girl will be

Sweet instead of wild

I just so happen to like this curse

For it seems to me

That when I’m grown up and have kids of my own

Like my Mother I’ll be

That is such a lovely poem. Yes, it does all seem to come back to us eventually.

I really liked this. I really hope that my children are just like me. I always respected and listened to my mom. So fingers crossed! ^__^
