“A mother’s love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.” As a junior in college, I have seen my share of trials and tribulations throughout my life. However, my mother was there to see me through life’s hardships. My mother took on the role as my first teacher before I began kindergarten. When I was sick she brought me medicine to my bedside, took me to the doctor’s office, and she stayed with me while I was in the hospital. She has also been my advisor when I felt discouraged; her words of encouragement lifted me up from the pits of sadness. When my heart was broken, she was there to comfort me by patting me on my back as I cried. My mother was there for me during the hard times but she never failed to cheer my on during the times of joy. My mother is not perfect but she works hard at her job and at home to make sure her family has every we need.
