As tears drip down my face

Let me tell you about a mothers fear

That eventually led to tears

What happened to the little boy

So bright, A smile so sweet

Running to meet me, with a hug,full of love to greet

I have a son 12 years of age

Stealing, lying, fighting

Always so full of rage

Much to all our shame

Not admitting to nothing

Or taking his blame

I talk, I question, I beg, I cry

All the while wondering why

A childs crime, turning on a dime

All the tears and suffering

A childhood left behind

A mothers sorrow, A mothers pain

Without you

 I will never be the same
