Trying to watch what goes on,

Sure does make a baby yawn,

They can’t see far away,

But try doing it every day.

Not being able to walk yet,

Still spending time in the bassinet,

The sides seem so very tall,

Soon they’ll start to crawl.

Most will first say Mommy,

But, some will start with Daddy,

Which ever one that they chose,

Neither parent will win or lose.

Each of them will enjoy the early years,

While each parent will tackle the fears,

Mom and Dad are going to be very proud,

Be sure to listen as they shout out loud.
