A night that one can ever remember if something similar to this happens in your life-time………….
I walked on the streets of my home town
Last night, it was, raining cats and dogs
I needed an umbrella, like that of a gown
Of a princess. All I wanted were few hot-dogs
To warm myself up, in the chilling weather
I passed on, I saw everything, all around
So lonely it was – as if from a flock, a cock feather
Flew to a place, where loneliness didn’t bound.
I could finally land myself at a place,
Far away from where I did start
Because there I found a flock, in a vase
Of feathers, I found a shop – so smart
It was, even on the road side and in rain
That is so heavy, it managed to give
All of us a better feed, and the main
Of it collected well, the petty we give.
There was an old woman who begged-
“Just for her feed”, and the people
Quite reluctant-they were, as if hugged
To a smelly, filthy person. For an apple
I looked into my bag, and I felt sorry
I had almost nothing, I was a basket
Completely emptied, but don’t worry
I have a better heart, not a market
Of the things like greed, envy, jealousy
I asked her to put forth her hands,
She did it, I saw her hands – so lousy
They were, I couldn’t stop myself – musical bands
Of mercy were being played in my heart
I lend all the food which for myself I bought
And it was to my astonishment, her heart
Couldn’t see her feeder hungry, thought
She, to lend me back the food I gave
But for her, I took a half so as to waive
To her greatness, and this night it is
To me to remember all my life with ease.
