A few tips on a fantastic creature who is sorely misunderstood.
When the Elephant sings in the treetops
And his mate, from afar, then replies
It’s a sure sign they’re ready for nesting
And soon, they’ll be swarming like flies
For the female lays eggs by the dozen
Which will hatch out in ten days or less
In a short time the fledglings get restless
Then they’re off causing chaos and mess
.
If these creatures arrive wreaking havoc
Though you’ll want to, don’t reach for your gun
Just wait till they get within range, then
You can tempt them inside with a bun
Rig them out with a shiny new collar
And a leash, but your not finished yet
With some patience and plenty of training
They could make you the most perfect pet
