Palm trees and ocean spray
A cool breeze
A summer’s day
Jasmine mint tea
A kite flying open and free
Spices and warm cocoa at night
Wrapped up in your arms feels so right
A loyal golden retriever
The moment cupid’s arrow first touched her
Days filled with hide and seek
Waiting anxiously to see him after an entire week
Smiles and daffodils
Rolling down those lush green hills
Swing sets and monkey bars
Driving in your perfect dream car
Top down along a coast with a perfect view
The first moment with her, when you finally knew
Candlelit dinners and dancing shoes
A relaxing breakfast perusing the morning news
Vacationing in an exotic land
Ten toes covered in rich golden sand
Vanilla candles and coconut treats
Breakfast in bed lounging in silken crème sheets
Bright orange with a side of your favorite dessert
Lounging around in your comfiest t-shirt
Blue jeans and sandals too
The day you woke up and all your dreams finally took to air and flew!

Very good write. Your imagery is loud and clear and makes me long for those perfect summer days when timelines and deadlines didnt matter, stress was something that happened to other people and the most important issue of the day was living it for all it was worth. Thanks for taking me back and reminding me that to be able to maintain balance in our stress filled days of timelines and deadlines we have to, just every once in a while, set out to have one of those perfect summer days.
