I had to study for a test in reading. We had read A Piece of Heaven and were going to be tested on the vocabulary. So I made this poem (and hopefully some money from the views, enjoy!). I think that it rhymes…

Sonorous- A low voice that is deep, full or loud in sound

Rogue- Somebody who is mischievous and sneaky all around

Pulchritude- Physical beauty

Decrepit- Worn out by long use and falling apart, would probably break easily

Incense- A kind of aromatic perfume that releases a sweet nice scent when you burn it

Relenting- Giving in, becoming more forgiving or compassionate

Premonition- A feeling of anxiety over a future event that is still waiting to happen

Staunchly- To be firm, strong, and true. This describes something that you strongly believe in.

Loquacious- Talking way too much

Menacingly- Threatening to cause evil, harm, injury, or such

I like it–check how you word the definitions…if you don’t mind a little suggestion, just reword some things so that they beat rhythmically together–it will create more flow throughout the poem. Very cool idea, though =)
