A poem about a pirates hidden love..

where is the light in misery

is there life in a bitter soul

for more then hidden treasures i seek

for not all treasure is silver and gold

does one rejoice when they reach the gallows

a whisper caught in my ear

a secret word, a disquieting dream

from dusk untill dawn

like rain upon the earth

a thick darkness floods the night

swallowed by cold in the shadows

battered and brusied i am

ragged and aged are my affects

toying with, and escaping death at every opprotunity

longing for more, focing more to happen

stabbing peace and tranquility into abandoned souls

our captian, what a sight to see

he who gives us labor that breaks the bones of our skeleton crew

a night without our captian isn’t a night worth any amouth of riches

a tough yet gentle warmth on a frozen night

sleepless nights, heartless days

gruesome combats, wholesome sword play

fearfulness sourounds the fearless

condeming souls to eternity with a single word

its impossible to make us feel guilty

emotion has been murdered

feeling has been stripped of all pleasure

overcome by fear, hatred and greed

longing, dreaming of secrets

wishing hidden affection

would no longer be an affliction to my heart

trust of the world around diminished

eyes searching the waters for us

those who find us never get to speak of it

our captian keeps us hidden beneath the cover of night
