Ishmael –
Yesterday’s disappointing election results show deep discontent with the pace of change. I know the OFA community and the President share that frustration.
We also saw what we knew to be true all along: Any change worth making is hard and will be fought at every turn. While it doesn’t take away the sting of this loss, there is no road to real change without setbacks along the way.
The President isn’t walking away from these challenges. In fact, his determination and resolve are only stronger. We must match that commitment with our own.
But it won’t be easy. Real change never is. For that reason, I am grateful you’re part of this fight with us.
Thank you,
Mitch

A Poem for America
I am honoured to be a part of the movement that I started and the American people have fought so hard to maintain.
Hence I thank you and the American people for all that you have done to keep it alive. I remain yours in life and death my people for I do not believe in death of the spirit, I will be back. No greater love and respect have I felt for a people who are so resilient, so passionate, so compassionate. You are my muse and for you I create all, here are people of all the nations of the world.
Here, my brothers and sisters from the Atlantic/Caribbean voices can be heard and accounted for, as to are your voices. Here I have felt such hope for humanity, here I see such promise for the world if it is done right for the world mimics your every move.
You, here are the BIBLE of the world, you here inspire all, you here remind me of ancient days of Atlantis past and those that are yet to come.
America, you are the light of the World, America you are the heart of the world, America for you I write, for you I paint my master piece of words and release them to the world. You are my inspiration to be a better man, for you America I surrender all, for you my people I live for you I exist.
America you are my wife and by extension the world is my bride. When you hurt, I hurt and I yearn to resolve your pain, when you cry I cry and by extension the world. You have been blessed to hold the world in your hands, for the Almighty has blessed thee with angels to guard over thee.
Oh America, will you then love yourself? Oh America, will you then love those who care for you daily? Oh America, will you then care for those who toil for you daily?
Oh America, in all your glory who would you be without the harmonious toil of your people who are your crowning glory? Oh America, you are Queen of the World and the Almighty is your King, oh mother America will you then continue to abandon the less fortunate of your children?
Oh mamma America, are not your children your future? Are they not your crowning glory? Are they not your Crown? I pray that you will wear them with love and learn form their collective wisdom eternally?
Give a people what they want, what they cry for with great objective, commonsense, conscious regulation and they will love you for it. They will move the moon, the stars all of eternity for you, the latter is all it takes to love your people, the way they need to be loved the way the Almighty Good God would love them. Hold your head high mamma America, mother earth and wear your Crown of Wisdom and compassion high!
Eternally yours,
King Ishmael C Darroux
