There seems to be an emerging new art form which melds the creative energy of modern dance with the power of the spoken word expressed as poetry. A little music and imagination added to the mix sometimes produces a thing of beauty. Though there might not yet be an official name for this blend of interpretive dance and poetry, this type of performance is being seen more and more. This poem is about such a performance, A Poetess in Motion.

A Poetess in Motion

On the dark stage, a bright circle fell on the floor

Its intense beam traveled upward,

Narrowed to a pinpoint and disappeared

Into some black unknown space.

An unseen bassist struck up a hypnotic rhythm

And a sweet saxophone crooned.

A wondrous duet infused the atmosphere

With swaying melodious grace.

She appeared from the shadows into the spotlight

Slim, in white flowing garments,

Her body and the music moved in harmony

As she stepped into her place.

She recited verses of an epic love poem,

Tenderly she voiced her story,

With words, body and music in tune,

And with expression on her face.

She totally captivated those who looked on,

A poetess in motion

Who moved and spoke on love, that mystery

As old as the human race.

Music and voice came to a crescendo

Soul bared, and body exhausted

With a final bow her audience was

Engulfed in her warm embrace.

She held them to her heart just for an instant

Then released them like a flock of doves

Lithe on wings of thunderous applause, smiling,

She fluttered out without a trace.

    Hello,
You can learn poker, chat with your friends, discuss your game with other players and begin your poker career, risk free, with the free $50 starting capital!

The starting capital you get from PokerStrategy can be seen as an investment for people who have an interest in playing poker and want to learn poker strategies. So why do you have to pass a quiz to get the starting capital?

Passing the quiz proves that you have the potential to become a good poker player; theoretically at least. Beginners also learn basic strategy, meaning they can go straight to the tables after passing the quiz and aren’t in danger of losing all of their starting capital right off the bat.

The quiz isn’t just for fun and it’s not meant to make things difficult; it’s a way of making sure new players will be able to get free starting capital in the future, and prevents new members from taking money to the tables without really knowing what they are doing.

“Free starting capital from PokerStrategy ” only works when the majority of players don’t gamble away their starting capital, but seize this one time opportunity and use the capital to make a profit.
