A poem I wrote because we dont realize how important the smallest and simpleest creatures are that we share a home on the world we call earth.

It dangles from a hard oak tree

Shines frostly in the sun

dicipitates poison from ever growing leaves

that can harm anything but humans

conquers enemy’s by color code

a self sustaining tree that harvests life within it’s trunk

A tree that has seen history to it’s limits

but keeps it quiet amongest the others

and carries memories of pain, hatrid, and rivalry

But a tree that has also seen love, compassion and malcombility of the human hand

As life continues so does the creation of tree’s

As life dies new life takes it’s place amongest the  great forests

But as lifeless as a tree may seem

It can tell stories of unmatched velocity

And band together for the good, bad, great, and the evil!

This is lovely. A curious tree, the oak, we have tons here-grass won’t grow under it and it will kill surrounding plants and yet horses and other animals can eat tons of acorns without being harmed.
The pictures were beautiful also, thank you!
