For the love of a good mother is better then gold.

We never knew that we were poor, a poor good life is
What we had, we always had a belly full of such good
Meals and sweet deserts.
We had the best of everything, from mother’s care to
A mother’s love. We walked around like little princesses,
With pretty dresses, Patten leather shoes, and ribbons in our hair.
We didn’t have everything we wanted, but we had everything
We needed. We had the best of everything and everything
Was the best. We never knew that we were poor, because
We had a poor good life.
