A little thank you note.
Early october,
with air the scent of lavender and praise.
Oh, Apollo…
Take away these mournful days.
For in the nights that Nyx brings me,
When Artemis’ brings forth the moon.
In this early October…
Inbetween the shadows and gloom.
Nyx, Nyx, how I love thee so.
Bringing me darkness in the night.
Nyx, Nyx, how I praise thee so.
Taking my world from the unforgiving light.
In this early october.
When Eurus blows the leaves about.
And Erebus covets the shadows.
In the darkness, to let my misery out.
Oh in this night,
this darkness that makes me feel at home.
One of many times,
When I feel comfortably alone.
In this early october.
I feel Nyx’s cold touch.
Losing myself at last in the night.
As my world begins to rust.
