O God, give me the strength to bear my mother’s pain!

You taught me to be,

You taught me to see;

You taught me to love,

You taught me to live.

Yet,

You did omit a bit

Did’t teach me to share,

Vile malady, pain you bear

Mother,

This truly isn’t fair.
