Lord, I pray that you brighten my day,

In the course of which grant me health,

Let good things today come my way,

Deflect my steps from the paths of stealth

Of subtle evil, terror and pain;

Protect me , let me be mentally sane;

Let my full trust in you remain.

Lord, bless my bold and true endeavors

To succeed in things that I must do,

Let not my soul and body sever

That this day I can soon renew

My faith and trust reposed in you

And with your guidance ever true

My spirit leaping in your presence,

My fervent hope  kindled, glowing;

I shall partake of your Love’s essence,

That this day I’ll be happy knowing

Seeds of love that I am sowing

Must depend on your bestowing.
