This is a song– so when reading try to imagine hearing it being rapped. It’s about not knowing, about standing up, and about assigning blame where blame is due.
He stands still,
The center of all surrounding him,
Most of it is confounding him,
Pounding against his will,
He is a boy,
Hoping he will be proud of him
Self, is he ill,
Astounding is,
All that he’s found a thrill,
And now he sees,
All of his disbelief,
Was founded in some reality,
Grounded into him deep,
He is annoyed,
Seeing what he perceived,
Drowning in joy that’s wound within,
mountin’ to suh-in cheap
See,
He’s a product of positivity,
Positive it’s a mystery,
Posited as unique,
Gobblin’ down iniquity,
Covered in somethin’ sweet,
Bobbin’ his head to sickening,
Thickening layered beats,
Coppin’ himself a high,
Droppin’ in him relief,
The hospital bed that beckons him
Possible, in his reach,
Believe.
He’s a product a positivity
He’s a product of positivity
He’s a product of positivity
Positivity in it’s least
He stands tall,
Calling to all his cronies,
His homies his at the mall,
falling for all the fonies,
Folding a dollar bill,
And tuckin’ it his pocket,
And winkin’ at one a ya’ll,
Thinkin’about his friendships,
Holding on with his claws,
Retractin’ em when he’s threatened,
Bettin’ he’ll get applause,
If only his fuckin’ weapons
His guns weren’t always drawn,
ill if you second guess him,
Position you like a pawn,
Yet when it’s time for aggression,
He let’s loose with a yawn,
See,
He’s a product of positivity,
Positive it’s a mystery,
Posited just unique,
Gobblin’ down iniquity,
Covered in somethin’ sweet,
Bobbin’ his head to sickening,
Thickening layered beats,
Coppin’ himself a high,
Droppin’ in him relief,
The hospital bed that beckons him
Possible, in his reach,
Believe.
He’s a product a positivity
He’s a product of positivity
He’s a product of positivity
Positivity in it’s least
He sits down,
Bewildered by all the victories sinfully since achieved
By lesser than foes instinctually cheatin’ so what’s it mean,
He’s shakin’ his head so viciously,
Auspiciously esteemed,
He’d cut it out with a knife, excise it, if he could clean,
But fuck it, he overdoes it, it’s rubbish and no one loves him
He’s cuttin’ like he’s a borderline,
Nuttin’ between his sheets,
Beatin’ his face in rage,
Indignant with his beliefs,
Feated by all the glory,
Attained when he broke his dreams,
See,
He’s a product of positivity,
Positive it’s a mystery,
Posited just unique,
Gobblin’ down iniquity,
Covered in somethin’ sweet,
Bobbin’ his head to sickening,
Thickening layered beats,
Coppin’ himself a high,
Droppin’ him from relief,
The hospital bed that beckons him
Possible, in his reach,
Believe.
He’s a product a positivity
He’s a product of positivity
He’s a product of positivity
Positivity in it’s least
