A basic poem about the life of the Puffin.

I am a Puffin,far out to sea,
I am searching for food that will not find me
I eat small fish, they keep me going,
All through my life,oh,it does get boring.
I am born on an Island,
Then I leave for the sea,
Five years or more before I come back,
I have to find a partner,
We have to get ashore,
We will have a young one,one is all,not any more,
When the young has gone, back to sea we go,
My partner will not see me for another eleven months or so.
Back to the boredom of bobbing around far out to sea,
Searching for food that will not find me.
I see a boat, and lots of other birds,
I know if I make a sound,I will never be heard.
Then comes my partner,we fly together,
Nesting material,we must gather.
A nest we must make,in a burrow,hurry quick,
Because on the way soon there will be another small chick.
Flying in and out,we both try and find food,
Small fish we will bring,it does our chick good.
Plenty of small fish,we will bring,
He needs to eat well and grow big and strong,
Soon he will be leaving, going far out to sea,
Five years or more,he will never again see me.
