Why are we born and the reason for our life on earth is a question frequently asked in many circles of our society. While the reason for our existence is an enigma, it is widely believed that we are here to fulfill a particular, predestined purpose.
“Why am I here on Earth,”
asked a friend,
A question I’ve heard
many times before,
To which I answered
as well as I could:
“There might be a reason,
but we’ll never know,
“But tell me, besides
the living you make,
“Have you any interest,
like a good deed you do?”
“I have,” he replied.
I help a good cause –
“A cause that I find
to be worthy and true.”
“Say no more,” my friend,
you’ve answered your question,
“The cause you embrace
is simple and clear:
”This might be the reason
why you’re here!
“

“But tell me, besides the living you make,
Have you any interest, like a good deed you do?”
“I have,” he replied. “I’m helping a cause –
A cause that I find to be worthy and true:
I donate my time in a hospital where
Children are sadly sick and in need.”
“Say no more,”
“
