A raging storm is brewing

It’s becoming darker

And darker outside

Winds picking up speed

Faster and faster

People ran for shelter

Not knowing what it 

Will be like next

It looks as though

It’s going to be doomsday

Rain begins a slow tapping

On our roof top

Eventually, there was quite a divulge

Cars on the streets were stuck

In water of the flood

- – -

Thunder roared

Lightening flashed

Again and again

We hope that the storm

Would go away

- – -

This went on for over an hour

Then it abated

Leaving outside still

With the air smelling fresh

- – -

Crystal droplets of water

Linger on the leaves of trees

Puddles now occupy the ground

Where children play

With tadpoles and frogs

- – -

Nature has once again

Demonstrated her beauty

As sunny skies appear
