A poem about the fears of a rain drop.
From the sky you fall,
Silver speck up high;
From Heavens up above
You imitate my cry.
Journey through the sky,
A diamond-like tear;
To earth where I am caught
To echo all my fears.
With many you plunge,
In the night-time shade;
Though you’re not alone
Of the end you are afraid.
The ground rises fast,
A dizzy blur of green;
Though a drop no longer
You will help to grow a bean.
This bean will grow up,
Climbing to the sky;
Returning to the heavens
From which you let fly.
While you fear the end,
Because you do not know;
Though one among many
You are always welcome home.
