It starts with a seed
Blown from a garden
Across a field
Into a clearing of wild grass
A single seed
To fend for itself
It grows from the earth
It struggles and toils up through the soil
A single bud comes to life
Blossoming into a beautiful flower
The sun shining down giving it life
Inspiring it to grow
Loving it from a far
The flower loves the sun for what it does
For how it shines through the clouds
And keeps it warm
Yet the flower resents the sun
The flower is so alone
Always alone
An existence
So hallow
So cold
Numb
No matter how bright the sun shines
Or how hard it tries
It can never
Make the flower feel less lonely
The sun cries golden tears on the flower
The sun resents itself for the flowers pain
The seasons change
The flower withers
And dies
A single seed
