There once was a sailor

Who devoted his life to the sea

Then he met a woman

And devoted his life to she

But they could not be together,

Becouse she was a siren

So they tried to take the risk

So they could be together

But when the sailors found out she did exist,

They spead rumors that went to the ocean

One by one the the sirenes came

They came to kill her

The sailor’s life would never be the same.

So the sailor tried to save her

But instead she lay there

The sailor’s heart broke

The sirens didn’t care.

But now as he listens to the sea

He can hear her singing to him

He knows he still loves her

And knows that’s not wrong

So that is why she sings to him

She sings a siren’s song.
