Lyrics, set to a well-known tune, for a humorous Buffyverse song.

Vague legaleese: Buffy is not mine.  I am not Joss Whedon, nor am I associated with him in any way.  I’m just borrowing the Buffyverse for a bit, I promise to put it back when I’m done.  Jingle Bells isn’t mine either, though I think it might be public domain by now.  I think everything here would qualify as fair-use, in any case.  Please don’t sue me, I’m poor :)

To the tune of “Jingle Bells”

Dashing through the town,
Vampires at our heels
Then we turn around,
Our weapons soon revealed (kill, kill, kill)
Axes, knives and swords,
Stakes fly left and right
Oh, what fun it is to sing a slaying song tonight

(chorus:)

Oh, blood and gore, guts and more, stakes and swords and knives
Oh, what fun it is to sing a slaying song tonight,
Oh, blood and gore, guts and more, stakes and swords and knives
Oh, what fun it is to sing a slaying song tonight.

Buffy is my name,
A slayer now by trade.
I make evil die,
I hear it’s all the rage.
I’ve been dead before,
Friends brought me back to life,
And now I get to sing another slaying song tonight

(repeat chorus)

I found it disturbingly creative. I\’m not certain \”like\” would be my choice of adjectives to use when describing it but it is fairly well thought out. It caught my attention.
