My friend called to ask if I could take her to the hospital as she broke her small toe. So I wrote this poem about the experience.

The phone rings
Life stinks
To hospital brings
.
Car ride rush
The night’s hush
Toe’s been in a crash
.
Make toe wiggle
How to stay single
People way too fickle
.
Wait wait wait
Yawns by the crate
Awaiting toe’s fate
.
She’s tired
I’m inspired
A star waiting to be fired
.
Six weeks’ curse
Toe needs nurse
Could’ve been worse

Not many can say they have written a poem about a toe!
Spiced with humor and negative turns positive! :)

A poem of a broken toe that is unusual! should have saved the petrol though they only bandage toes now no splints or plaster! Good work again. LB
