Is is about how a hockey player’s son might view his first Christmas.
There are so many more faces,
As we go to many different places,
Don’t know what the fuss is all about,
Guess, I’ll have to wait till I sprout.
So many colorful lights to see,
They’re all hanging on the tree,
Look at the very special ornament,
From a far away place it was sent.
The icy weather is not around here,
While one of the has hockey gear,
In the summer we go across the border,
Soon, Santa Claus will get my order.
Next year should be lots more fun,
Watch as I open the gifts one-by-one,
Until then I’ll have a long wait,
Later, Dad will teach me to ice skate.
