About expectations and fitting in.

You were destined to live with people
In a world, a world that is theirs.
Are you that different?  Why are you?
What brought about this ominous change?
You were once a part of the real world
With you had a career to follow through
And were you not respected among your kind?
A Tradesman, with knowledge in your hands,
Is all now lost…forever?
Surely not, you know you are free,
you are free to choose whether to live
And find a place where you’ll be happy,
Or be cold in the misery you’ve woven
Laugh…you are alive…
