A storm traps me in my cabin.

Strong winds!

Thunder!

Hail!

Lots of snow!

There’s no relief in sight

- – -

Hunkered down in my cabin

Without electricity

Batteries running low

My food supplies in jeopardy

Will I survive?

How shall I sleep?

- – -

It’s wailing outside

Lightning is flashing

Hailing!

Snowing!

It’s freezing!

- – -

How can I make it out of the woods?

The battery of my truck is dead

My cell phone not working

I’m out of touch with the outside world

And cold, shivering and freezing

- – -

Wood in my cabin is becoming scarce

The fire is ebbing in the hearth

Will anyone find me?

I have to make it through the night

- – -

I did

By wrapping myself in blankets

I prayed

And was rescued by mountaineers

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, just look for it and it comes out of the blue. Glad you made it through.
