A short poem comprised of various different song titles from the ever-incredible band from the sixties, the Beatles.
Michelle, won’t you ride with me in my Yellow Submarine?
It is quite the journey, if you have never seen
I’m the best writer the Daily Mail has seen yet
I want to be a Paperback Writer so that I can buy a big jet
For Sargeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club band and myself
These are dreams I refuse to put on the shelf
I can gladly introduce you to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Upon meeting Lucy, you will see that her wonders are prominent
Then we can escapade to Strawberry Fields Forever
There, I promise, you will discover many great treasures
‘Til There was You, I have not taken such a bold stand
But I really can’t help it, I Wanna Hold Your Hand
I’d buy you whatever, ’cause you’re a gift from above
Although I know that it’s true, Money Can’t Buy me Love
I know I Get by With a Little Help From my Friends
But it is with you, ma belle, where my happiness begins
