A Triond Convention would be great!

Its a brilliant idea

Of course we’d all love that but… not many of us could afford the plane tickets etc to all fly to one spot on the globe.
However, if you’ve made it rich off your writings, I’d be happy to allow you to pay for the transport to the extravaganza.

Perhaps regional gatherings though?

It’s an excellent idea! Katie may be correct that we may have to do a regional thing until we all get rich enough to trot all over the globe.

Nice idea, but as pointed out above, this is an international group of people. The friends i most often communicate with span half the globe. Regional meeting impractical too unless, by chance, there are concentrations in specific areas. I wonder if Triond would be willing to post their global distribution, something like a dot on a world map for each subscriber. That would go a long way in seeing if this is even practical. As far as costs go, I write poetry at a rate of maybe one dollar per month and am otherwise not a rich man. i suspect my financial status is fairly representative.

Wow that’s good idea but maybe the Triond team must really work on this convention such as giving free seats to some members of Triond in the Convention.

This is still an idea that need work, great things could come out of this, we might have to start out regional and then maybe expand. I don’t think there will be any freebies. But if it were done next year in the summer, would that be enough time.

Great idea, but the cost may be prohibitive,not many of us could afford 1000.00 for an international flight with hotel stays etc. Las Vegas would be great as they always have cheap flights to LV, cheap rooms,and cheap food!!!

That would really be so cool. But I agree about the flight part. I still don’t have even a part time job yet. Set aside my medical studies that i would start taking next year. What do you think if there could be like maybe a top listed people of published great articles/poems and so on would get a chance to win a free flight to meet the other great writers.

I am totally in love with all your work. You are amazing and the way you put this together is awesome. I think its a wonderful idea. Let me know if anything of this nature gets put into the works. I would love to take part in it, and if necessary help out.

I love the idea too but it’ll be a little hard to do. The only thing that’s possible is an assembly of each members of the same country, but what if you want to meet your international friends? Sadly, it’ll be a little impossible… How about something like a webinar type but could it be possible to see others too?
