For the broken-hearted.

Underneath the graying sky, I feel sadness
Tipped, by the shadow you left behind

Confusion mixes with sorrow
When the heart’s left, abandoned,
Vacant and unknown

Arms wrapped me in splendid delight
Oh that night! Oh that night!

And suddenly the candle’s flame was extinguished
The illumination quickly strained

The quiet, the caress,
The hope he left behind
Leaves me wondering, leaves me aching
For what is, no longer mine

I’m sure we’ve all felt that at one time in our lives. You’ve expressed it so emotionally here.
