Strange, isn’t it, when you return to where you once were, and the only thing you vividly remember is how you drank up all that coke on your sixth birthday without ever really knowing?

In the half dark and half light of this room
Lakes of smoke were sneezing in the air
Six saints or angels must have been kind enough
To fling their halos for this miracle
In the half dark and half light of this room
Six luminous circles’ six wiry lullabyes
Were single filing towards a coke bottle on the table
Six aged leprechauns must have lost their rings
Six little laughters leaping in the bottle
Finished off the content, then settled as bubbles
In the half dark and half light of my age
I wished for another, but given sprite instead
