A poem for my brother and my soon to be sister in-law on there wedding day……………

Image via Wikipedia

A poem for my brother and my soon to be sis,

A day full of cheer and wedding bliss,

The day has arrived,

Two families unite,

Your love has survived,

Through care and delight,

My little brother,

We grew up as best friends,

Some days we would squabble,

But soon make amends,

As our families gather,

You take your vows,

You both exchange bands,

With some quivering eye brows,

So my little brother,

So proud i am to say,

I wish you both love,

On your very special day.

Will you be the best man and read this poem at the wedding? That would be great!

Did you read it out at the wedding? I gave my sister away last year (second marriage, and she didn’t want our father dong it twice!!) and I wrote a poem instead of a traditional speech. I also did a blue version, just for them to make them laugh!!
