Waiter, I’ll take a little Whine with that.
Not much brain
Inside my head
I think I’m alive
But I feel kind of dead
I’m sleepy and tired
But don’t want to go to bed–
So I think I’ll write
A whine poem.
Oughta be something fun
Around here to do
Something better than staring
At my old left shoe
Where my ankle has swollen
Up kinda fat
Might be age but
Let’s not think of that
So I think I’ll write
A whine poem.
I’ve had a long time
To learn to whine;
I can do it better
Than I can dine.
And speaking of dining,
Dinner was sadly flat
More than a little lonely
For the matter of that.
I’m tired, I’m bored,
I lost my hat;
So I’ll just write
A whine poem.
